About Us
We started out small.  Just a little blog with a few visitors.  We listed calls when we heard about them...and people came.  From Field of Dreams, "If you build it, they will come."  Well, we built onto it, like a house under remodel. 
 
We added the Pub Calls Calendar so that people could see the calls how they wanted to.  It could be a list, a 4 week calendar, a 5 week calendar.  You could see specific call genres, or see it all.  Totally your choice.  And you liked it.  You really really liked it. 
 
And so we added more.  We added the Pub Calls Manufacturer's Challenge to spotlight companies every few weeks.  And, to allow manufacturers the opportunity to see how their products are being used.  Not just by designers that are in the magazines, but by everyone.  This has also been a source of inspiration for viewers.  For those that lurk and buy and scrap and build.  For those that want to do more or want ideas to do things in another way.
 
And then, people wanted to know more.  So Pub Calls in your Inbox was born.  E-mails with the next couple of weeks worth of calls.  Now, if you have a busy week but want to know what's coming up when you get a few minutes of scrappy time, it's there for you.  And it's linked to the calendar with all of the glorious details.
 
Can it get any better?  Where will we go from here?
 
Yes it can!!  There are more changes on the horizon.  Big additions that will make you smile.  We hope.  There will be some great additions for those that want to submit to calls.  We haven't even begun to roll out anything organization related! 
 
And of course, we are always open for ideas.  Because the Pub Calls Person is not one person.  It's a little bit of everyone.  We've grown from your ideas.  And that's a good thing.
 
 

 

We were 2 people in the beginning.  Then one left.  For months and months, all things Pub Calls were handled by one person.  But then, the skies opened up and we heard a voice.  "Bring people with you!  People that want to be a part of the Pub Calls Blog.  Let them build.  Let them announce.  Let them be a part of this thing so that you can get some sleep at night."

 

And I did.  And now there are 6.  So, when you think Pub Calls...it's not the bag.  It's the People behind the bag.
